Dorman Tree Farm returns for 2020 holiday season

As the holiday season draws closer, the Dorman Tree Farm will be opening this Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, from 10am to 5pm. From there it will be open into the weekend, and every weekend thereafter.

“Things that people always ask are, do we have to bring a saw? No, you don’t need to bring a saw,” Todd Dorman of the Dorman Tree Farm.

“And you don’t even have to cut your own tree down. If you don’t want, you can point it out. And we’ll cut it for you. Basically, we’re just gonna do whatever we can to try to make it as easy as possible, but most people just want to take care of the whole thing themselves.”

Dorman says that interest has been high this season.

“…there has been more interest earlier interest for you know, people just calling and inquiring about the farm and the trees and when we’re going to be open that sort of thing. So yeah, I’m expecting it maybe to be a little bit better or a little bit more busier, you know, right off the bat.”

Those looking to get a tree can find it on the first left off of Sergeant Creek Road. Signs will be posted to help guide you in.
