This morning, Governor Dunleavy delivered a message to Alaskans, urging them to help curb the surge of COVID-19 cases that threaten to overwhelm the state’s health care capacity.
The governor is asking state employees to work from home, mandating masks and social distancing in state buildings, and strongly urging Alaskans to “sacrifice a little more” by asking employees to work remotely and residents to wear a mask at “any and every setting.” Dunleavy also encourages Alaskans to celebrate the upcoming holidays differently, with these measures in mind.
This is a developing story.
