Kodiak COVID Count: Active cases decrease marginally

One new case of COVID-19 was reported Friday by the Kodiak Area Emergency services organization. The case is a Kodiak resident who recently traveled.

Contact tracing is underway. The total case count since the start of the pandemic on Kodiak is now at 141, with 34 cases being classified as active.

Three cases recently completed their isolation period and are no longer included in the count of active cases. This has lowered the active case count since Thursday, which was 36.
