Kodiak COVID Count: More cases following emergency declaration by Governor Dunleavy

Following an emergency declaration Thursday morning by Governor Dunleavy, the Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization has reported three new cases.

One case is a close contact of a previous case, another is a new community spread case, and the third is under investigation. Contact tracing is underway.

This raises the case count to 154 cases since the start of the pandemic, with 20 cases classified as active.
