The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization has reported 44 new cases in the Kodiak Island Borough.
Of these cases, seven are community transmission, 11 are travel related, and 26 are close contact.
This brings the total case count in Kodiak to 827 cases since the start of the pandemic, with 125 cases classified as active locally.
To date there have been 35 hospitalizations in Kodiak, with four patients currently hospitalized. There have been five deaths to date in Kodiak.
