The Kodiak Area Emergency Services organization reported 12 new COVID-19 cases in the Kodiak Island Borough, including three community transmission cases, one travel related case, and eight close contact cases.
This brings the current case count for the Kodiak Island Borough to 884 cases since the start of the pandemic, with 69 cases currently classified as active.
There have been 37 local hospitalizations to date, with two patients currently hospitalized. There have been five local deaths to date in Kodiak.
