The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization has reported 22 new COVID-19 cases for the Kodiak Island Borough, including five community transmission cases and 17 close contact cases.
This brings the total case count to 906 cases since the start of the pandemic, with 81 cases classified as active locally.
There have been 37 local hospitalizations to date, with two patients currently hospitalized. There have been five deaths to date in Kodiak.
