Kodiak COVID Count: 1 new community transmission case, active cases remains at 4

The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization has reported one new community transmission COVID-19 case for the Kodiak Island Borough, bringing the total case count since the start of the pandemic to 1049 cases locally.

Local active cases remain at four.

There have been 42 hospitalizations and five deaths due to COVID-19 in the Kodiak Island Borough to date; there are no current active COVID-19 hospitalizations locally.

There are currently three sites offering Covid-19 testing in Kodiak:

Kodiak Area Native Association KANA

Monday-Friday: 8:30 am- 5:30 pm, Saturday: 10 am- 4 pm

Testing site: 3472 Rezonof Drive East (behind Eyecare Excellence)

Airport testing: Available only for incoming travelers and outgoing village/ remote site travelers.

Monday- Friday: 9 am- 12:15 pm

Testing site: 3248 Mill Bay Rd.
