Kodiak COVID count: One new case today, local active cases steady at 17

The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization has reported one new community transmission COVID-19 case for the Kodiak Island Borough.

This brings the total case count to 1045 since the start of the pandemic, with 17 cases classified as active locally.

To date there have been 42 hospitalization and five deaths associated with COVID-19 on Kodiak; there are no active cases currently hospitalized locally

There are currently three sites offering Covid-19 testing in Kodiak:

Kodiak Area Native Association KANA

Monday-Friday: 8:30 am- 5:30 pm, Saturday: 10 am- 4 pm

Testing site: 3472 Rezonof Drive East (behind Eyecare Excellence)

Airport testing: Available only for incoming travelers and outgoing village/ remote site travelers.

Monday- Friday: 9 am- 12:15 pm

Kodiak Island Ambulatory Care Clinic KIACC
