Kodiak COVID Count: Kodiak breaks 1100 total COVID-19 cases, one new hospitalization

The Kodiak Area Emergency Operations Center has reported that the Kodiak Island Borough has broken 1100 total COVID-19 cases to date, after reporting 4 new cases this morning. These cases included 1 travel related case, two close contact cases, and one community spread case. This brings the local active case count to nine, and total case count to date to 1101.

Another hospitalization was also reported today, bringing the total hospitalizations to date due to COVID-19 in Kodiak up to 45. There is one current active local hospitalization. There have been five deaths due to COVID-19 to date locally.
