Kodiak COVID Cases Climb to 112

The latest COVID 19 outbreak continues in Kodiak.

 

The Emergency Operations Center reported sixteen (16) new cases today (Tuesday). Ten (10) cases were classified as close contact, five (5) as community spread, and one (1) as travel related.

 

112 cases are now classified as active locally, with three active cases currently hospitalized in Kodiak.

The total case count to date is one thousand three hundred forty-six (1346), with fifty eight (58) local hospitalizations, and five deaths associated with COVID 19 in the Kodiak Island Borough.
