COVID Update Reader Tuesday, September 28, 2021

Today the Kodiak Emergency Operations Center reported forty seven (47) new cases of COVID 19 for the Kodiak Island Borough.

All cases were officially classified as community spread.

The cases were tested between the 19th and 28th of September.

Two hundred twenty-seven (227) cases of COVID 19 are classified as active locally. Three (3) cases are currently hospitalized in Kodiak.

To date two thousand one hundred twenty seven (2127) total cases, eighty-three (83) local hospitalizations, and seven (7) deaths have been associated with COVID 19 in the Kodiak Island Borough.

A mask mandate is in effect for indoor public spaces.

Vaccinations are available in the Kodiak area from your health care provider or pharmacist.
