Pumpkin Parade and more!

Just because we’re staying at a safe distance doesn’t mean we have to miss out on Halloween! October 23 or 24 (final date determined by the weather) pick the perfect pumpkin at the 4-H Harvest Festival and Pumpkin sale from 1:00-3:00 pm. Then on Friday, October 29, go downtown from 3:30-5:00 pm for outdoor trick or treating at participating local businesses. After you load up on candy, drive by KMXT’s pumpkin parade to ogle town carving talent. Cap off your night from 4:30-6:30 pm, by stopping at the Kodiak library for a Kodiak Spooky Story Stroll in the dark. For more information, check the community calendar or the Halloween Happenings flyer.

If you’d to display your pumpkin in the Pumpkin Parade, bring it by KMXT at 620 Egan Way on Friday, October 29 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. We’ll put the pumpkin in the parade line up for you. You can pick up your pumpkin Friday evening after the parade.
