COVID 19 Update 1/19/22

The Kodiak Emergency Operations Center has reported 255 new cases of COVID 19 for the Kodiak Island Borough since Friday, January 14th.

 

There are 571 cases currently classified as active locally.

 

There are 2 active cases currently hospitalized in Kodiak.

 

In the Kodiak Island Borough there have been 4073 cases, 109 local hospitalizations, and 9 deaths associated with COVID 19.

 

Residents are encouraged to stay home if ill, even if you have mild symptoms. Keep your distance from others whenever possible, and wear masks where appropriate.

 

Vaccinations and COVID tests are available from the Kodiak Area Native Association at (907) 486-9800 and the Kodiak Community Health Center at 481-5000. Vaccinations are also available at the Safeway and Walmart pharmacies.
