COVID 19 Update 1/24/22

The Kodiak Emergency Operations Center has reported 54 new cases of COVID 19 for the Kodiak Island Borough since it’s last announcement on Friday, January 21st.

 

There are 388 cases currently classified as active locally.

 

There are 2 active cases currently hospitalized in Kodiak.

 

To date in the Kodiak Island Borough there have been 4284 cases, 110 local hospitalizations, and 9 deaths associated with COVID 19.

 

Residents are encouraged to stay home if ill, even if you have mild symptoms. Keep your distance from others whenever possible, and wear masks where appropriate.

 

Vaccinations and COVID tests are available from the Kodiak Area Native Association at (907) 486-9800 and the Kodiak Community Health Center at 481-5000. Vaccinations are also available at the Safeway and Walmart pharmacies.
