Kelp Farming

 

Marine biologist Tamsen Peeples has traveled from California to Corsica studying everything from harbor seals to cuttlefish. But she is Alaska born and raised and in the past several years her focus has been the emerging mariculture industry in the greatest state, specifically seaweed farming. The first thing I asked was if seaweed is an acceptable scientific term.
