The city of Kodiak has been moving forward with its Waterfront Masterplan to address much-needed repairs, maintenance, and overhauls for Kodiak’s harbors and waterfront. How would you rate that process so far, and what do you see as priorities going forward?
There has been much public discussion recently about the absence of affordable housing in Kodiak, and the effect it is having on our ability to attract and retain employees across many vital industries. What role, if any, should the City Council play in finding a solution to this problem?
What do you think the City Council could be doing better, and are there specific priorities you want to focus on if elected or re-elected to the position?
