On today’s Midday Report with host Terry Haines: Mary Peltola will be sworn in as a member of the U. S. House of Representatives today. Don Young’s Chief of Staff will serve in the same role for Representative Peltola. And officials say Kenai Borough Mayor and gubernatorial candidate Charlie Pierce was asked to consider resigning after the Borough paid settlements to departing employees.
