On today’s Midday Report with host Terry Haines: Southeast Alaska’s summer season for Dungeness crab was worth about $10 million less than last year. Gov. Dunleavy continues to support Republican Charlie Pierce in the governor’s race following a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against Pierce, but Pierce’s running mate has dropped out. And the Alaska National Guard rescued six stranded snowmachiners from a glacier in the Eastern Alaska Range.
