In today’s Midday Report with host Terry Haines: A community garden proposal is making its way toward Sitka’s assembly for approval. Almost half of Alaska’s Head Start early learning programs are in danger of losing millions of dollars in federal funding. And Alaska’s predator control programs do not work, according to research by two retired state Fish and Game biologists and a University of Alaska Fairbanks professor.
