Midday Report – January 11, 2024

On today’s Midday Report with host Terry Haines: The tundra village of Nunapitchuk sits on top of a high concentration of permafrost, and it’s melting. The Anchorage Assembly decided Tuesday night that the name of Alaska’s late Congressman should be attached to the city’s port after all. And melting permafrost is bringing decay and fungus to the North.
