COVID Update Reader 09/09/2021

Today (Thursday) the Kodiak Emergency Operations Center reported thirteen (13) new cases of COVID 19 for the Kodiak Island Borough.   Eleven (11) cases are close contacts of previously reported cases, and two (2) cases are classified as community spread.   Eighty-one (81) cases are currently classified as active locally. Coast Guard Finds and Hoists Boater in Lazy Bay 9/03/2021

The Coast Guard rescued an overdue boater today in Lazy Bay at the south end of Kodiak Island.
