If you are planning to travel to Anchorage after this weekend, make sure you bring a mask.
Friday afternoon, Anchorage mayor Ethan Berkowitz announced a mask mandate beginning Monday, June 29 in the city. This mandate applies to indoor public spaces.
The only exception to the mandate is for people with underlying health conditions that make it difficult to breath while wearing a mask.
