An employee for the City of Kodiak has tested positive for the coronavirus.
City Manager Mike Tvenge confirmed the case on Monday.
Tvenge said in an email that public health officials have instructed the city worker to self-isolate and is doing so.
He says all city staff known to have contact with the employee, who tested positive for COVID-19, have been tested as well.
