The US Coast Guard Marine Board of Investigation hearing on the F/V Scandies Rose sinking will begin on Monday.

The Coast Guard released a detailed schedule for both weeks of the hearing.

Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Alaska time, they will overview details of the tragedy, followed by a three-hour long discussion with the Scandies Rose owner, Dan Mattsen.

After lunch, they will speak with the Scandies Rose manager and then the owner of the boat’s insurance.

KMXT and KUCB in Dutch Harbor will be providing daily coverage of the hearings, which you will be able to watch on kmxt.org.
