Kodiak’s COVID-19 surge is continuing, growing from 25 active cases on Tuesday to 32 cases Thursday. This comes by way of a Kodiak EOC press release, with data from the Kodiak Public Health Office.
They also revealed that five of these cases are travel-related, and two are non-resident cases. There has been no information on the vaccination status of these cases, or their testing dates.
The EOC also announced in this press release that case updates would be scaled up to a three-times weekly basis until further notice- a sign that the EOC expects an increase in cases relative to the fair times that prompted them to drop from daily updates to weekly updates earlier this year.
