On today’s Midday Report with host Terry Haines: Ore trucks running on highways between Kinross’s Manh Choch Mine and its mill are projected to cause millions of dollars per year in pavement damage. A neighborhood near Kalifornsky Beach Road has been flooding, much to the dismay of residents. And police have killed an aggressive bear in Anchorage, the 16th so far this year.
