Two Alaskans were re-appointed, and a Washington State man was named to the North Pacific Fishery Management Council Monday. The announcements were made by Sam Rauch, deputy assistant administrator for NOAA Fisheries.

Dan Hull and Ed Dersham, both of Anchorage, were reappointed to designated Alaskan seats on the council, while Craig Cross was appointed to a Washington-designated seat. Cross is government compliance officer for Seattle-based Aleutian Spray Fisheries

This will be Hull’s second three-year term and Dersham’s third and final term. Cross replaces David Benson of Kingston, Washington, whose third term expires this year. They were selected from nominations made by the governors of their respective states. Their terms begin August 11th.

Thirty appointments to the eight regional fishery management councils were made Monday.
