Today is the first day of work for the borough’s new code enforcer, Neil Horn.
Bob Peterson, the borough’s community development director, said Horn was selected from a field of well over a dozen applicants for the position.
“And we felt he was the most qualified applicant and the one that would be the best fit for the borough," he said.

Horn will be in charge of handling complaints about zoning compliance and solid waste enforcement and work on the junk car problem in the borough. Horn replaces Jack Maker, who last month took another position within the borough.
