Air Station Kodiak Capt. Morin transfers command

A new commanding officer took over at Air Station Kodiak today.

According to Coast Guard public affairs, Capt. Mark Morin has been in the position for about three years, which is a typical period of command. Morin heads on to Washington D.C., where he’ll be Executive Assistant to the Assistant Commandant for Acquisition.

Capt. Bryan Dailey takes over from Morin. According to the Coast Guard, Dailey was formerly the Chief of Response for the 8th Coast Guard District in New Orleans.

Air Station Kodiak held the change of command ceremony this morning.
