KMXT 100.1 FM Public Radio in Kodiak, Alaska
Jeff Loman, the deputy director of the Alaska Region of the U.S. Minerals Management Service is in Kodiak today to hold a scoping meeting on oil and gas drilling in Bristol Bay and the North Aleutian Basin – basically the waters north of the Alaska Peninsula. He dropped by the KMXT studios for a live interview on the midday report with Jay Barrett.
The North Aleutian Basin scoping meeting will be tonight, starting at 7, at the Elks Club.
