Candidates for the Alaska House of Representatives District 32 participated in the State House Debate Tuesday night. Republican incumbent Louise Stutes, Democrat Brent Watkins, and Independent Duncan Fields answered questions and tried to give voters an idea of their intentions if chosen for the position.
Following the debate, KMXT’s Kayla Desroches caught up with some of the audience members outside the assembly chambers. Here are a few of the people she spoke to and their thoughts about the candidates and the legislature.
