Senate P Race: Sen. Gary Stevens wins race against Greg Madden

With all 23 precincts reporting, Senator Gary Stevens appears to be headed back to Juneau. The Kodiak Republican won 63 percent of the vote in his race against Greg Madden of Soldotna. Voting going smoothly in Kodiak

Kodiak polling locations saw business as usual for voters over the course of Election Day this Tuesday. Anita Sholl, election official at the Mission Precinct, said that by mid-Tuesday afternoon they had seen nearly 900 voters, or about 125 voters an hour.
