Trump Wins Kodiak District on Super Tuesday

While Ted Cruz won the State of Alaska’s vote on Super Tuesday, the majority of Kodiak Republicans who turned up to vote at the Presidential Preference Poll decided Donald Trump is the leading candidate. Ten percent of Kodiak’s registered Republicans went downtown to voice their opinions and, out of that, 101 people registered as Republicans at the same time. Trump gained 140 votes, or 39 percent, and Ted Cruz followed at 95 votes at 26 percent. Meanwhile, the entire District 32, which includes Kodiak and Cordova, cast 427 votes, and Trump won that voting district with 35.6 percent.
