Coach Carman Says Season Was A Success

In their first trip to the 4A State volleyball tournament in nine years, the Kodiak Bears’ season came to an abrupt end Friday with a four-game loss to Juneau-Douglas. Despite the early exit from the state tournament and disappointing end to the season, Kodiak head coach Rick Carman said he saw a lot of positives in both the tournament and the regular season and is proud of the hard work his players put in all year long to accomplish their goal of reaching the tournament.
