Deer Vulnerable During Snowy Winter

Until the past few days, it’s been a dry low-snow winter in Kodiak-and that’s been good for the local deer population.

Alaska Fish and Game biologist Larry Van Daele says there are two things people can do to help the deer this winte: one, Don’t feed them; and two, keep your dogs from running loose.
