Assembly Commits $8.5-Million to Schools

The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly Thursday night took the cautious approach to the question of school funding. The assembly committed $8.5 million to the school district for next year’s budget. That’s far short of the $11.2 million the school district was asking for. KMXT’s Maggie Wall has more.
