Alaskan Named Honorary Consul from Philippines

More than 25,000 of America’s 3.4-million Filipinos live in Alaska. In recognition of that fact, the Philippines ambassador and consul general to San Francisco are in Juneau this week to celebrate the appointment of the first Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Philippines to the state of Alaska.
