Last week KMXT told you about Kodiak High School Senior Hannah Wandersee’s hopes to play college volleyball, but she isn’t the only Lady Bear looking at post season playing opportunities. Junior Isabelle Riina hasn’t set her sights on collegiate athletics just yet, instead, she’s turned to statewide club volleyball. Riina was recently selected to play for the prestigious Midnight Sun Volleyball Club, based in Anchorage.
Riina will join a group of volleyball players from high school teams around the state to practice and compete in the coming months. KMXT’s Brianna Gibbs caught up with Riina to learn more about her postseason plans with Midnight Sun.
