Special Programming — LIVE coverage of the State of the Union Address begins at 5 p.m.

KMXT will provide live coverage of this evening’s State of the Union Address beginning at 5 p.m.

It’s expected that NPR coverage will continue until 7, so that means KMXT’s schedule for today will be changed as follows:

• 5-7 p.m.  Live NPR “State of the Union” coverage
• 7 p.m.  Return to normal programming

Note there will be no local news or Alaska News Nightly tonight.
