Katmai Update – Four Survivors Found

The Katmai, which is homeported in Kodiak, was in Amchitka Pass, west of Adak, when it disappeared. Jay Barrett/KMXT The Coast Guard is searching for 11fishermen from the Kodiak-based fishing vessel Katmai after responding to an emergency beacon detected approximately 100 miles west of Adak.
