Disaster requests for Bering Sea crabbers highlight the lengthy process of getting financial relief to fishermen

Kodiak voters’ rankings mostly mirror current statewide election results

Voters won’t know the results from last week’s statewide election until Wednesday, Nov. 23, but there’s already some indication about who voters in Kodiak’s legislative district ranked first on their ballots. Most Alaska students are not proficient in reading and math, state test scores show
