Today (Monday) the Kodiak Emergency Operations Center reported twenty-seven (27) new cases of COVID 19 for the Kodiak Island Borough.   The cases were tested between Tuesday, October 19th and Saturday October 23rd. A military test related to the development of hypersonic weapons failed Thursday at the Kodiak Spaceport Complex, according to the Department of Defense. It is unclear if the failure caused any damage to the launch complex.
