The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Kodiak Island from 6 a.m. Wednesday through Thursday morning. According to the forecast, the island will see winds of 40 to 50 miles per hour with gusts up to 80 miles per hour.  A gale warning is also in effect for mariners on both the east and west sides …
