Three seats are up for election on the Kodiak Electric Association Board of Directors. The seats of Directors Linda Freed, Gordon Gould and Jay Johnston are open and nominations to fill those seats will be accepted until March 13 when candidate petition packets must be returned. Each seat is for a three-year term. A candidate forum will be held on March 26 and candidates will be asked a series of prepared questions, as well as questions from community members. Ballots will be mailed to all KEA members following that forum and must be returned to KEA by April 19. Results will be announced during KEA’s Annual Membership Meeting on April 22. The KEA Board of Directors is comprised of nine elected KEA members and one non-voting representative from the United States Coast Guard.
