There’s been a slight change on the Kodiak Fisheries Advisory Committee.

Oliver Holm, who had been serving on the committee as the representative from the Department of Fish and Game Advisory Committee, has switched to the Salmon-and-Herring Vessel seat.

The change, which Holm requested, was previously approved by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly, and agreed to by the Kodiak City Council on Thursday.

— (KFAC 1 6 sec “I’d just like to thank Oliver Holm for his continued engagement. The community really profits from his experience.”)

Those words of support came from City Councilman Terry Haines, himself a fisherman and the city’s representative to the KFAC (Kay-Fac).

The change leaves the Fish and Game Advisory board seat vacant.
