M. Brent Parsons served on Koniag Board of Directors 13 years.
Long-time Koniag Board of Directors Member M. Brent Parsons passed away last week in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
According to a Koniag press release, Parsons, who has been on the Koniag board the past 13 years, passed while he was attending a Koniag Board strategic planning meeting.
Parsons was “family” to the board and staff, said Board Chair Ron Unger. He added that Parsons was beloved by both shareholders and staff.
Parsons was involved with Koniag his entire life and often said that serving his people on the Koniag Board was the highlight of his long professional career.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, to whom he was married nearly 40 years. And their children and new granddaughter, as well as his two brothers.
