Bears Back Into Playoffs

Jay Barrett/KMXT The Kodiak High School Bears continued their post-bye week stumble Friday evening at Joe Floyd Field, getting beat by the Houston Hawks 10-to-7. The loss, the Bears’ third in a row, drops the team’s record to 3-and-2 in the Northern Lights conference, and 4-and-3 overall. North Star School Vandalized

Jay Barrett/KMXT The Alaska State Troopers are investigating some vandalism at North Star Elementary School. The Trooper report says that late Monday night or early Tuesday morning that the school’s north wall was peppered with over 25 paint balls. No major damage was reported and the investigation continues.
