Searchers Friday afternoon found the body of a Kodiak man missing since Tuesday night. Thirty-seven year old Kevin Rogers was found dead in the Cliff Point area, near where his car was spotted Thursday.

Searchers from Kodiak Island Search and Rescue, the Coast Guard and Troopers did not find Rogers before calling off the search because of darkness Thursday evening, but found his body early Friday afternoon.

Troopers say no foul play is suspected at this time, but Rogers’ body is being sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office. Next of kin have been notified, and and the investigation into his death continue.
